For more information on how sessions work, visit the FAQs page. BodyTalk sessions are easy, safe and comfortable. A session usually lasts between 20 and 60 minutes. The length of a session is not indicative of the quality of the session or the results that occur, as even the simplest sessions can be quite profound. A BodyTalk session begins by discussing your health status and whatever other personal issues you may wish to address. Then, you will relax on a treatment table while the practitioner, positioned at your side, will gently life your arm to establish Yes/No communication. This Yes/No communication is called neuromuscular biofeedback, which is similar to applied kinesiology. The patient and/or practitioner touch(es) the parts that need repair and the practitioner then gently taps the head of the patient in order to focus the brain toward that repair. BodyTalk "tapping" causes increase in brain activity in relation to the specific parts being touched. The practitioner then lightly taps the chest to store the changes in the heart energy complex, which ensures that the new balance is held in deep memory and is, therefore, long-lasting. Clinical results have shown that once the communication systems of the body have been reestablished, and the body-mind complex is synchronised, the body is capable of healing itself at a deep and lasting level. |
